Since I did it last year for NaNoWriMo but for artist, I started updating my online comic: Notebook Kiss a page a day and fanfic. The last time I updated my ouran fanfic was 5 years ago!!! OMG time has passed. But I also have not really leisurely read a book for a LOOOOOOONG time, so I already forgot how to write story orz;;;

I kinda envy my past self, since I was able to do what I enjoyed the most: storytelling. Now, I waste time just drawing fanarts or trying to improve my painting skills without really adding a narrative. Also I was able to draw comic stuff during high school and college years when I was also busy with homework. Now I'm already out of school and working, but can barely do any comic (unless its work related) for fun. Where did I go wrong?

Ahh hopefully this month will bring my groove back into just doing more storytelling. Even tho I'm working on a fandom I really don't care about now...I want to at least give it a conclusion. I also wish I could print my stuff haha, but no one really buys my work or this small fandom haha.

Gahh i want a new computer!! My computer has been super slow lately. Maybe I should blame myself for watching netflix online while using photoshop...but i've done that before!!! Hoping I can transfer them over to the new one and then reformat it. I don't have the OS software so I can't do anything about it now....

My sis is also planning on building her computer. I think my cousin offered to help build it, so I'm hoping I can ask him to help me too XD;; But I haven't talked to him in so long! Damn you facebook! (don't have...)

Plus I'm taking 3d modeling next semester, so I need one that can run 2010...my current computer (built since 2007) could run maya 8 at okay performance (tho it kept crashing on me...)

I think that will be my last major spending of the year, as the rest will be toward paying family stuff.

This is a pretty good documentary on Asian American Male Actors in Hollywood. Must see! (there's another asian american docu that includes female actors by TCM, but I don't know where to watch it)

With stuff like the Airbender movie going to shit...its such depressing to know things still hasn't changed ): Not enough Asian American role...? Airbender opens that opportunity but the shithead at the productions/casting decision just don't allow it.

SO TRUE. I HAVE SO MUCH THINGS TO DO but I can't focus on each one very well. I start on cging something and then I go plan some story ideas for a bit and then move onto work on homework and surf the web inbetween and watch videos within a 20 minute time period. I have a bad sense of focus and concentration!!!! Why is it that I like to distract myself from one stuff to another! (in fact i'm doing that right now by typing this entry XD;;;)

GAHHH Bad habits needs to stop...but that's just me....

Anyways, school started...already have to work on a bunch of stuff T_T;;; Have to do a walk cycle...shouldn't be that bad since I've done them several times now in high school...

Needs disconnection from internet haha...

I have to rework my storyboard T____T;;; Thought I could start animating...but nope, got to nail the freakin story. I'll post another version when I get it done.

Damnit it all!!! The instructor wanted more "punch" to the storyline...but I want to keep it sweet and simple....

I've been buying a lot of artbook because I think I need to expose myself to what current illustrators are doing....and I look at book reference more than digital.

Anyways, for Halloween...
I didn't dress up. All my costume are outdated...and I woke up just to have enough time to toast some bread and go to school. Everyone's costume at work was pretty awesome! I hope someone uploads photos! I came at 12 ish...and the sushi was all gone ;o;

Anyways, after work, I went with CP, Laine and Derek to watch capoeira performance. The performers were in costumes this time, so it was fun to watch them do cool moves as a janitor, pink ragdoll, nymph, sinbad, or chinese martial artist XD;; The really tall guy was Elliot from E.T. and brought a E.T. plush to the circle and performed haha. Pretty entertaining.

After, we picked up Phi to eat, on my very first time, at the Cheesecake Factory. I think I drank too much mocha... so I got lots of liquid trying to go down my throat....but I wanted to vomit it out. So stuffed and I only ate half the dish TwT;; I wanted to eat more Godiva Cheesecake but too much mocha....I hope the caffeine is working!!

Today I went to figure drawing! Ah, it's been a while haha. I don't have that dedication as I wish I had like my other classmates.

Somehow I feel regretful that I didn't apply for the program with my classmates last year!! Seeing them ahead just makes me feel so behind D; But then again, at the time, I was working on doujinshi for the past two years and I worked 30+ hours a week.

This weekend will be full of shit to do!! D:

-PORTFOLIO (finish tonight/tomorrow)
-JPN ESSAY (finish on sunday)
-ARTH ESSAY + JOURNAL (finish on sunday)
-BRICK DROP + BALL BOUNCE REDO (finish on saturday, i'll prob be at school all day ;o;)

I wish the weekend was longer...
And I still haven't been able to draw anything for myself. I attempt at it, but my drawings have been crap. Right now I'm trying to draw Gino (Code Geass) haha... *wants to draw Gino/Kallen fanart*

Hair is still wet! I'll stay for a bit. OH! It's HALLOWEEN DAY!! Happy Halloween! I'll prob go to capoeira to watch the performers perform in costume XD

Only half my desk arrived. The other half was damaged during the shipment!! OMG it took two weeks damnit. I'm hoping I can get a replacement. But damn, I can't really finish cleaning the room without my desk D: WHY!!

I'm still sleeping in my lil sis' room haha. I guess I only need somewhere to sleep. But I've been away from my home computer ;o; No cg. No downloading....all because of that freakin desk. Stupid Office Depot.....stupid Fedex!!

I'm still able to catch up on LJ and anime through work and my ipod touch thankfully.

Con season is finally over for me! *wipes sweat from heat*

I returned home from LA to San Jose at 2:30am T__T;; The driver entered the wrong exit at Los Banos instead of Gilroy and had to drive back in this deserted city....he gets lost easily --esp from downtown LA to the house we were staying after staying in LA for 3 days already!!!

AX for me was pretty "meh". I finally sold out all the 2007 prints at least. Yay. I still have plenty of 2008 which I'll sell online. A bunch of people came up to my table and I got to chat with them. Even people from gaia came to tell me their appreciation of Inari's Bead and I even got handsewn plushies from them XD! (Thanks for the Tama plush kkarth Argh, I'm bad with names so I don't remember everyone who I talked too ORZ;;; Also I finally met _nayuki, krysyuy and joobley in person!

I didn't get to cosplay this year TwT;; I was too busy and we woke up late and had to rush to con to set up table fore artist alley open. Maybe next year I can cosplay an original character...

I went to Shokotan's concert with lucathia without having to wait in big ass lines anymore <3 She's so cute XD I couldn't go to the Ouran panel because there wasn't anyone to watch my table...buu. But I went to Gaia Panel and saw the onomnomnom hat I designed IRL *w* But most of the time I spent in artist alley and dealer room.

Ouran 62

I have to say, I love the people that came up to me and complained about ch. 62 or "I can't stand tamaharu"!. I LOVE YOU GUYS!! And surprisingly, some were guys who were ranting haha... (I still can't really see guys reading shoujo...) It's a relief to know I'm not alone in this thinking.
