Con season is finally over for me! *wipes sweat from heat*

I returned home from LA to San Jose at 2:30am T__T;; The driver entered the wrong exit at Los Banos instead of Gilroy and had to drive back in this deserted city....he gets lost easily --esp from downtown LA to the house we were staying after staying in LA for 3 days already!!!

AX for me was pretty "meh". I finally sold out all the 2007 prints at least. Yay. I still have plenty of 2008 which I'll sell online. A bunch of people came up to my table and I got to chat with them. Even people from gaia came to tell me their appreciation of Inari's Bead and I even got handsewn plushies from them XD! (Thanks for the Tama plush kkarth Argh, I'm bad with names so I don't remember everyone who I talked too ORZ;;; Also I finally met _nayuki, krysyuy and joobley in person!

I didn't get to cosplay this year TwT;; I was too busy and we woke up late and had to rush to con to set up table fore artist alley open. Maybe next year I can cosplay an original character...

I went to Shokotan's concert with lucathia without having to wait in big ass lines anymore <3 She's so cute XD I couldn't go to the Ouran panel because there wasn't anyone to watch my table...buu. But I went to Gaia Panel and saw the onomnomnom hat I designed IRL *w* But most of the time I spent in artist alley and dealer room.

Ouran 62

I have to say, I love the people that came up to me and complained about ch. 62 or "I can't stand tamaharu"!. I LOVE YOU GUYS!! And surprisingly, some were guys who were ranting haha... (I still can't really see guys reading shoujo...) It's a relief to know I'm not alone in this thinking.

Woo, got that off my chest. Now I'm no longer on "vacations" I need to do work stuff and essays for the Kyoto trip.

OMG this is actually NOT an unhappy rant as I've had for the last 10 chapters or so *A* krysyuy is right, this chapter makes me a really happy Hikaru-fangirl XD!!!

Oh yea. Watching Gaia softball game was really fun!! Suck we lost by 1 pt!!!! ARGH!!! So close TOT;; I never been so into sport since highschool tennis! XD

Since I have been trying not to care about Ouran pairing...or story...I'm still following the series for Hikaru. He's became more important in the story yay! Months of depression have helped numb my emotional connection with reading the series!

Nothing in depth......just realized a lot of scenes I'm working in the doujinshi are in the manga....

I'm not copying!! I guess the scenes are always generic and played out...or I think I'm picking up some wavelength from Hatori lol...just I go off to non-canon pairings...whatever...more reference!

Gawd I really am too into this series T___T;;; Must endure...work on doujinshi...to relieve irritation... *dies*

I've been watching Genshiken for the past few weeks esp after watching THAT one episode I think a lot of gals already checked out. The series is pretty good :D I like it. The main charas are likable (minus annoying kuchiki)and ended up buying most of the manga (still missing some crucial volume TAT;;) during my sister's employee appreciation month :D

Anyway, spotted Sasahara reading something that looked familiar...

My love for Genshiken increases! Oguie is probably the chara I can relate to a lot. Madarame is really likable despite hentai-otakuness and his one-side crush on Saki is cute. Also it's cool when his voice turns all Viral (TTGL) since the seiyuu is Nobuyuki Hiyama XD Saki is awesome when she isn't trying to ruin Genshiken. Kousaka...why does he remind me of Quatre from Gundam Wing...anyways, the better looking of the group XD;; Ohno's openess to BL and cosplay is great haha...wait,I think her liking is more like Man Love. Sasahara is really plain...reminds me of Shinji (Eva) minus the angst. Tanaka and Kugayama seems less impt and more in the bg to really think much of. Hoshit...top seiyuus voiced most of the charas *A*;; I didn't realize it..haha...

Enjoyable anime about Otakus :3 Season two looks a bit more hardcore tho @A@;;; (as shown in that one episode..)

Why do these doujinshi cost so much @_@;;; Even tho it's twincest...the artist's drawing is so pretty X3 But there's not enough ouran het out there!! ;O; I need to start working on script for my dj since all the pages have been roughly planned out ;P

As for Halloween...I did nothing to celebrate it! (except Gaia event). Yay. I went to school and had not class in the morning >_>;;; But ended working on my color grid anyways for 5+ hours. I went to night class and took my Intro Film midterm. Don't you hate it when you change an answer last minute because you doubt it's right but end up being right in the first place? Gahh... Then we watched Citizen Kane which was a surprisingly good movie.

As for reborn...I continued reading the manga chapter 116 to chapter 140 last night til 2 am =_=;; The ring battle was so intense! Tsuna's hawtness factor increased everytime *A*!! Dying Will Tsuna!! ♥ ♥ The anime would probably take out all those blood haha... *now I'm starting to see why the manga is better XD;;* Amano-sensei's drawing is improving and improving.... but Tsuna's eye is larger than before.

I'm probably the only who thinks this...but Chrome x Ken has peaked my interest XD Anyone else? Gahh...I probably can't find anything on the web for this pairing =_=;; (Why do I think this way??!!!)

Teacher was absent from art history class....I didn't go on the computer last night to get the notice T_T;; No wonder I haven't heard from vejiita4eva. Oh well, I wasted my time finishing the 4th chapter of Notebook Kiss doujinshi~

I went to the Katzenberg (co-founder of Dreamworks SKG) Session (summary of event from asaphira_sachi). I met up with ianoji and some former classmates which was nice, since we don't have the same class this semester TAT;; Dreamworks donated $300,000 to the Animation/Illustration program because of the school's close relationship with the company *A* Does that mean better supplies/equipment? XD The one quote Katzenberg said seems to apply to everyone:

Believe in what you're doing, because if you don't, why should others believe you?

Gosh that's a powerful quote. I mean you hear it all the time, but who really believes in themselves? Not many. I think its time for me to boost up my esteem and strive to get better. Everyone else should too! I think I'm going to aim for the BFA and see how far I can go with my art guided by education. Also I wish I took John Clapp class in the past ;O; He subbed one of our class and invited us to his lecture for his class which was very very informative. Knowledge in Design really helps make an artwork incredibly stronger.

Okay time to do Japanese homework and go to sleep early.

Last night I rushed to get the lettering and extra pages in. Early morning I woke up to work on the cover (I did at work) because their face looked retarded and gave the file to the printer in the morning before work and got a saddle stiched proof pretty quickly afterward.


T_T So rush....I didn't even had a clear idea what the cover was going to be except the night before it's due....The color end up being really saturated...but I won't argue, I want the stuff to get printed on time.

I approved the proof right away to get them started. Hopefully by Wednesday. I looked over the stuff again, and notice some typos...like August 2007 --> 2006 T_T;;; But nothing too serious I hope D:

We went to SJ Convention center to pick up our badges. I had to pick up staff and had someone help me direct to me the room, where a met another staff member who was also trying to pick up badge. We had to wait for an hour or so for our badges. So while waiting, we ended up talking a lot about ourselves. Stuff I don't normally do with strangers. I'll probably never see him again. Haha.

Anyways, ZZ was AWESOME!!! ♥ ♥ The room is smaller and we got to stand up at the front of the row of the stage~~Got all sweaty jumping around. :P They performed a buncha of their musics that I luckily listened so often and then left the stage. But everyone started to chant "ZZ" and they came back on the stage to do three more songs!! Woo! Last one was "Be Survivor" which was what I wanted to listen so much. Bought one of their cd and got it signed! XD ZZ is so much love. ♥ Probably the only band I followed after their first performance at Fanime.
