I don't really understand other's people reaction to 59...but somehow I feel really sympathetic to Hikaru's position. It's so sad ;o; *I actually teared up a little haha* I think he fully understand where he stands and feel he already lost, but he's doing his best to withstand it. He even admits that he may seem like a immature brat who doesn't really get it...but he really loves Haruhi. Gahh Hikaru ♥ He does look hurt when he tells Tono that. I don't think it's easy since he also loves Tono. If he was saying with a mean face like when he was in middle school, I guess even I won't forgive him...but he looks like he's in pain ;o;

He doesn't really have much a chance to make Haruhi look at him...but whenever it's both Tono and Haruhi in the same place it really hurts him. Even I don't think I could stand it.

Tono is always too cheerful, so I can't really feel sorry for him. He's seems to be so positive he can overcome anything. Have it been proven wrong? Not yet. SO I feel more sorry for Hikaru.

Looking through 59...the cool Haruhi really did died...replaced by some blushing, unsecure, uneased shoujo. Gahh....;o; I miss her. So now reading Ouran, Haruhi is just bleh...or gives me the shiver. She lost all her self confident. More and more she looks at Tamaki with loving eyes................ *vomits*

So meh....I kinda don't want Hikaru to go for that Haruhi haha... She's not cool anymore. She makes both the twins in pain.

Another note: Onsen. Kyouya and Kaoru naked (with towel) in the onsen on the same side. Yes! XD


The good news after reading this...I don't feel pissed off as I have been in the past few chapter rant. I think I detached myself from the manga quite a bit. Thank goodness.

Haruhi died in my mind. She's been dead since what, chapter 50? But as for Hika, damn it. I do feel a lot of sympathy towards him. D: We all know TamaHaru is going to happen so, whatever. Moving on off fandom, please XD

It's good that you're detached from the manga~ So am I. I've moved on the greater and fun series Vampire Knight +_+ (Also, have you read the recent chapter for Shinshi Doumei Cross?).

I have yet to find a good series I can move on to...I'm watching like a whole mess of anime just to see what peaks my interest.. But they don't last as long XD

VK is a bit too complex for me to really enjoy as I did with Ouran XD;;; But I still follow it. The plot is just so messed up and weird XD So is Shinshi Doumei Cross ^^;; Which recent chapter are you talking about @A@?

The new chapter that got released this weekend. All about Shizumasa. It's pretty sad. They show us how psychologically messed up he was since he was a child. D\ And stuff.

It's kinda hard to pick a genre XD;; I like comedy romance. In shoujo manga, I prefer strong female lead XD

Yeah, I think he might die within three chapters? It's how Arina is. She never lets the crazy guy who suits her better get the main lead female protagonist. >: Like what she did with FM ;;! Disappoints me.

Ahhh I only followed the Ouran anime so I loved Haruhi's non-shoujoness but... what's all this about her being blushy and all that D: It's terribly sad that she's becoming a typical shoujo girl TT3TT

People kept saying poor Tamaki, and here I am going like, enough with that!

I actually pity Hikaru more since he's got like a 30% chance with Haruhi compared to Tamaki seeing that his attitude remains the same problem as it was in the past.

And yet, I still don't blame Hikaru either. If I know any guy who would put up with Haruhi's obvious liking for Tamaki I'm sure they'd do the same reaction. Hikaru can't bear his feelings any longer so maybe he wanted to say something like, "I like Haruhi too,", but when he heard that Tamaki is still playing the 'father-daughter' play, he gets kind of pissed of that Tamaki wasen't taking her or his own feelings seriously.

Whoa, It may sound like i'm bashing Tamaki here, but I support both sides ^_^ I just wished that Tamaki would step up a notch and take major steps, it's not his fault that he's so naive =D

After reading, I just cried and listened to songs like 'Foolish Heart' and 'Where do Broken Hearts Go' and such and I was like, ranting to my 9-year old brother that it's all gone, it's all gone (he was looking at me like I was insane).

Tamaki is just... so happy. He may be turbulent inside and he can't see his parents or wtf else, but at least! I agree that it's hard to feel sorry for the guy. It's like he's made up of pure happiness.

And Hikaru... well, it's just the first time that he got to love someone other than his brother. After he finally got the courage to be released from his small world to be with Haruhi (and damn it, he even dyed his hair *which looks super sexy to me anyway*, a physical mark to prove it). That might be proven wrong if he falls for someone else, but... but.. *wails*

I fully agree that Haruhi died. I hope she doesn't become just another shoujo manga character. She's different - or was - from others. That made me love her so much. But the way she's blushing just hurts my heart.

Unlike you, I don't support both sides (you're really nice about it LOL and I'm being so bitter). I definitely be depressed if Hikaru didn't end up with Haruhi. It's not really that I support both side...it's that I gave up caring XD;; I was bitter at around chapter 55ish XD (i previous ranted about the other chapter with rage XD). Also because I keep getting disappointed by the progress of the series, I had to detach myself with the series because it got me incredibly and emotionally depressed every time. In short, I lost hope of any hikaharu possibility ^^;;; Also Haruhi became annoying now.

I love reading rants esp those who share the same opinion and can rant reasonably XD

XD Despite what happened and despite my pessimism, I'm still crossing my toes and fingers~ Hikaru shall pwn them all XD LOL I don't know... I HOPE that would be the case, though. (And I still hope for Haruhi's rebirth) I think TamaHaru fans are happy about the change... I'm not sure, but I told the story to my friend and she was brimming with joy.

So... are you still going to keep up with the manga or just leave it like that? (I think it would hurt me on both sides ;=_=)

I really hope he doesn't get rejected pathetically as Kaoru.... @A@;; To like build something up for so long, and then ending like immediately---

There's no other reason for me to stick with the series when my fav female chara already died and a character i started to love will eventually get rejected because he had no chance to begin with.

I have to say this. Hikaru's a great character and I have really grown to love him but in this resent chapter he struck a nerve because he reminded me so much of this guy I know that fucked up a friend of mine's life. So since you said you feel sorry for him I have to say this because I would probably too if I hadn't been in situations with guys like him before.
I DO NOT WANT HIM TO BE WITH HARUHI ANYMORE. Why? because angsty angry guys like that are not just fixed by romantic relationships. Until he grows up he should not be in that type of relationship. Ladies, I know it's easy to go crazy for a guy that beats himself of you but it isn't healthy. When you date a guy like that and get into a fight with his whole world falls apart and he totally expects you to fix it.
Tamaki can hold his own, which is a healthier way to be in a dating relationship. You can be friends with an insercure person like Hikaru, that's fine and healthy but to date is not.

So. I hope Hatori has Hikaru mature if she's going to have them get together. And with the most resent two chapters, I think there is still a cahnce of that. Haruhi may be in love with Tamaki, but he doesn't look like he's capable of admitting he feels that way about her, so that might be a deadend relationship. But maybe not. Still, when they were digging for treasure, Tamaki dug up an empty treasure box and Hikaru found the real treasure when he wasnt even trying.... you know how Hatori loves her forshadowing and symbolism...
