My lj posting has been becoming less frequent. Somehow I feel like no one care. Anyways, I've been meaning to do this since it requires less memorizing about the whole trip hahaa...

First off: Plug Neko!

We went to the cat cafe again in Ikebukuro and I manage to take this really cute picture of this lion-fur trimmed cat. So cuute!!!!

Now onto the doujin/manga/artbook photo dump! I think I went overload this year. They were sooo ridiculously heavy to carry around. Thank goodness for 4-wheel luggages! Also I bought too many compiled doujin XD;;

Going to leave for Tokyo tomorrow~~!

Somehow it doesn't feel like I'm going. I came home late from work as usual. I eat dinner. Watch tv while cging. And go to sleep at 3am ish. I totally messed up my sleeping pattern! No more Phoenix Wright to correct it ):

Oh yeah, I really worked up my wrist badly...its really painful to move the mouse without a wrist brace T___T;; But I totally missed out on the Digimon 10th anniversary, so I've been trying to make a tribute pic before I go. Should be resting my wrist, but must get it done. I'll rest while I'm in Japan XD

Since this is an independent trip hopefully I'll get to hang out with everyone on Twitter XD;; Its a huge group this year. How fun~~

Michiko to Hatchin: I'm loving this series. Finally a show about the strength of femininity without the fake desu generic crap you get from other anime. Their personality is realistic and has a lot of depth imo. The voice actors really bring the characters to life and believable. Michiko and Hana's relationship is so nicely done~~ Almost like a young mother-daughter relationship. Also Michiko's various fashion and hair style. Hahaa..some are so skanky, but they totally fit her character. She knows how to dress. And they complement the type of person she is. And it cool to see the various places they go to.

Right now on Episode 15. Hoping to finish it before I leave in the morning haha.

Plenty of you guys went to Japan. So any hotel/hostel recommendation that is cheap/safe for a group of 4 in Tokyo?

Laine recommended Sunshine Prince in Ikebukuro.
JenKat mentioned Tokyo International Youth Hostel which is in Shinjuku?

So frustrating to look for...argh

How does one go about planning their trip to japan?

Like finding flight, hotel, jr etc. I've never done this by myself before XD;;

I want to go to Summer Comiket.

AH I MISS KYOTO!!!! *sniff*

Anyways...I'm looking through my photos, not sure what I should post for a Japan report... :X I wrote a 20 page diary of my trip haha.. should I include that with photos...hmmm...

I still have to write a diary in Japanese for a grade T__T;;

Still having it T____T;;;

Shit. It feels like I wasted time sleeping till 5pm...but if I wake up too earlier, I feel like I would have a headache.

Yike, my room is a mess from the stuff I brought over XD;;; Need to clean up...and work on prints.

Holy mackerels....my monitor is huge....lol.
Using the laptop for one month really surprises me how huge it is.... (even tho its just 17 inches)

I manage to reorganize my luggage before check-in so that each luggage weighs under 23 kg ahahah. At first, all the doujins were in one luggage and weighted 47 kg or so...so i swiped them with the duffel bag of clothes. Safe from paying extra fee.

Doujin photos! Haha... I need shelf space now. I'm surprise I can get that much considering my fandom is very narrow and specific.

DOUJINSHI AND MANGA are my drug... )

I will miss Japan and it's used doujin shops.... *sniff*

They make me poor...I spent so much money on them... *pics later...*
Going home tomorrow!! NOOOO!!!!

ALSO, people I know, where are you sitting....I guess I can't figure out who you are with your real name...unless its really obvious....

I'm sitting at D39 +D40.... what's that..in the front or back D: I wish they gave a better layout on where the doors are at.

T____T;;;

♥ Thanks everyone for the birthday wish! ♥

As much as I would love to say I had a great birthday...errr its half-half.

First off, it was raining.

Then we went to the Hiroshima Memorial center and it was depressing and sad.

Then it was stuffy in a bus and it was raining.

Then we went to Miyajimaguchi and Aoki-san paid for my Okonomiyaki for my bday. And then we went to the Miyajima island and the shrine was pretty and the tori gate was huge. But the sea level was low that the sand was revealed, so it didn't seem like they were floating like these photos.

Then it was still raining on the way back.

And then we went back to Shinkansen which was alright...but my sock was wet T_T;; Then we arrived back to Kyoto at last. My classmates sang happy birthday to me and another classmate (nope, it wasn't just my birthday T-T;;). Then I went to the bookstore underground to try and buy di[e]ce, but they didn't have it. Then we missed the rapid train back home so we went on the local train. But the local train stopped a couple of time because the track was probably too slippery. Then me and Andrew (classmate sharing same house) walked home.

And it was RAINING really really really hard.
And the sidewalk was flooding and I got my shoes really soaking wet. For 15 minutes we walked i the pouring rain. And even a car passing by splashed water on me from just above my thigh @A@;;; And it still pouring rain. So glad I'm back indoor!!!

I hate the rain DX

HAPPY BIRTHDAY [livejournal.com profile] milk_of_lime!!!! MY BELOVED YOUNGER TWIN!!!

--------
Oh yea, there was an earthquake day for yesterday in Japan...but it was farther North from Tokyo where I was. I only felt the hotel building swaying and that's about it ^^;;

I went doujin buying crazy...but probably not crazy as most people since I have a very small fandom.
--------

Today I ate Kaiseki near Shijo with some of my classmates, Inaba-sensei, and Aoki-san *w* The food in total cost about 7,000 yen per person @A@;; But it was really fulfilling and an interesting experience. Because it cost so much, I took a lot of pictures!

FOOD PORN!!! ENJOY :D )

---Still need to work on AX print....

Been going to field trips of historical sites around Kyoto to Nara and even Shiga prefecture. There was Agata festival yesterday and it was pouring!! But I practiced Japanese with a 60-year old lady, Tamie-san, who is learning some English from my host sis. We walked A LOT that my feet feels like it was going to fall off!!! But I'm having fun. I'll post photos later....

The greatest thing about being in Japan, I can buy manga in 7-11 haha. DGM 15, DGM Fanbook (I want to cosplay what they're wearing *w*), Reborn 20..... Japanese conbini are so awesome!!!!
