 In the past year, I've been running into dark residues in the washer that would leave stains. They were more noticeable on towels. I thought it was from the clothes because looking at the washer, it looked pretty clean. That is...until I did further research and found out how washers are built. The residues were molds, mildew, grimes from built up moisture that didn't get properly dried out nor washed off from a regular washer cleanup using bleach. They were growing on the outside of the inner tube and the plastic tank. Watching youtube videos of people opening their dryer for the first time, it seemed less complicated to disassemble it (hahaha yea right). Every step that seemed easy on the videos, we faced with great difficulties. Finally, we were able to take part the washer. It was horrifying to see what was behind the tube x_x

I don't think I've changed much of my lifestyle from last year especially the whole social part orz;;; If anything I retreated back to my hermit self (more reflection later)

Took a day off work (we get a day off on our bday!) and basically watched anime and worked on prepping for AX. Went to Home Depot to buy PVC pipes and spray paint and bought a table cloth at Target for 4 bucks! (Barcode error or something, cuz I saw it listing for $15). Dad and I did a bunch of measurement after setting up the display to make sure we don't go past the limit and then finally spray paint it. Did my display got shorter...trying to get it under 4ft. But anyways, now we have side panels so I could put more prints haha :D Sis came home from work at 7:30pm and we went to Ringer Hut. Dad complain of course, cuz he perfers his Vietnamese noodle over Japanese. Got too full that I couldn't finish my Matcha parfait. And that ends the day. No fancy party or anything. Pretty much grown out of it by 18...

Anyways, so display about done, now to finish that magi print orz;;

Already nearing end of April!!!! Jotting down my list of plans for the spring and summer~

-Finish Winter Anime Review: I ended up writing too much for each series orz;; And I have like 20 to go through...

-Spring Anime First Impressions: Waiting until I watch 3 eps for each series.

-Hawaii: Going to visit sis who's "graduating" from UH for 1.5 week. The whole family is going including grandma! Gonna try doing some life sketches there. Haven't been there since 2005.

-Fanime and Anime Expo: Ahh so close!!! Gained too much weight so I'm more conscious if I should cosplay hahaa...

-Convention Prints: K and Magi. Right now just sketching some K fanarts and figuring which one might work to print. Also touch up some fanarts that I can sell small prints of.

-Notebook Kiss Doujin/Fanfics: work on some more pages; I actually think about it every day, trying to figure out different scenarios b/c what I initially drew was too similar to the manga. So trying to change things up... I've been reading a lot of bl manga for ideas :D

-Poyo Yo! Demon: Do a bunch of clean up and hopefully lucathia write up more on the script.

Resume daily speedpaint: I got lazy this year, plus working on game... I need to go back to do some studies -_-;; Drawing and painting got really sloppy.

I wish I could put exercise on there haha. But dad took over the living room since he retired where I used to work out >_>;; Maybe I'll try jogging when I'm in Hawaii...

I haven't really been updating my life. Just random moments... I will do that once school is over! Can't believe we only have 2 weeks left!! Meaning 3 instruction days and then finals afterward!

I need to start thinking of what to do for Fanime as well...Durarara print maybe... lucathia keeps telling me to make a Ace Attorney print. HTTYD?!! XD

I really want to do a book!!!!Doujin, artbook, sketchbook, i dunno. Probably for AX XD;; Which I got a table...but selling my own stuff instead of with Mishiri. lucathia will be my helper! XD We are also trying to cosplay Edgeworth Investigation. But I seriously need to lose weight DX I've gain so much orz;;;

Back in the day, we watched stuff on VHS! I wonder if anyone is too young to not to know what that is hahaa. Anyways, we used to record a lot of shit back then on TV and from the library. I had to look thru the tapes my dad sorted out for me to get rid of for my baby cousins. Playing about 50 or so tapes, I was going down nostalgia lane. I've watched a lot of cartoon in my childhood, and its not just Disney (because we actually bought legit copies that are in their own boxcase). Amazingly I still remember these scenes XD

There's been a stray rabbit that's been visiting our front yard everyday. Its not even afraid of us, so I always try to take a picture of it. One day, it was before sunset, and I told my dad if we can try capturing it.

Dad: Yeah, go capture it for Grandpa to make rabbit soup out of it.
Me: Noooo!! Nevermind, don't capture it.


This brings back memory when we had a big turtle in our backyard in those recycling bin filled with water.

Us: Yay! New pet!!

The next day: TURTLE SOUP

After hearing Miyazaki's answers...I really don't want to turn CG haha XD I don't forsee myself being a 3D artist, nor well I want to use it.

Its so much simpler to get things down on paper than meddle with rigs and vertices etc. They drive me crazy.

I've started to add some values for the screentone at last haha... I think I'm going to go light with screentone for this like most shonen manga do. But then I sometime overdo it because there's environment lighting to think about, like a sunset to create dramatic mood. Ah my shoujo-ness....
Hopefully I'll convert them into screentone soon and then start reworking the dialogue and having it edit. (LOL i like doing dialogue last.)


Gah...this week has been stressful in terms of the meaning of life what I'm going to do in the future. My art progress etc. Career choices. Graduating or not graduating... So much left to do before school ends and Fanime beginning!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!

Going to sleep early! Which is 1 am.

SO TRUE. I HAVE SO MUCH THINGS TO DO but I can't focus on each one very well. I start on cging something and then I go plan some story ideas for a bit and then move onto work on homework and surf the web inbetween and watch videos within a 20 minute time period. I have a bad sense of focus and concentration!!!! Why is it that I like to distract myself from one stuff to another! (in fact i'm doing that right now by typing this entry XD;;;)

GAHHH Bad habits needs to stop...but that's just me....

Anyways, school started...already have to work on a bunch of stuff T_T;;; Have to do a walk cycle...shouldn't be that bad since I've done them several times now in high school...

Needs disconnection from internet haha...

YAY!!!!!!!!!! SCHOOL IS OVER FOR NOW!!!

Need to get some rest later tonight. I only got 3 hrs of sleep today and I'm catching the cold/flu/w/e.

I totally didn't study for Japanese finals...but I think wasn't too bad. I just forgot a lot of kanji! ORZ;;;

But for now, gotta work on work stuff...must plan my winter break more carefully.
