I just saw this feature on CCTV of this Chinese sculptor Qiu Qijing.

His sculptures are amazing in today's Chinese art *A* Very provoking. I could feel the pain from just looking at slits on cold stone rocks. His usage of stones to portray country side farmers migrating were impressive *A* I wish there were more photos of his work somewhere. There was one particular sculpture I liked in the beginning of the feature.

Feature on CCTV - not sure if video works...i have trouble connecting

Today I went to Kelsey Mann's lecture.

For those who didn't attend, you missed out~~!!! I got a lot from attending after hearing his experience and working at the animation industry. Also he explain about building a good portfolio. His life working in different animation companies sounds fun XD;; Although, I don't want to do anything animation haha... Still great lecture. There weren't enough people to fill the room, but we got to ask a lot of questions and gather at the front desk and hear his stories and look at the actual storyboards and portfolio he worked on for cartoons in Cartoon Network etc. Bought his Noir book :3

Its nice hearing a lecture from someone who talks about the experience of being a storyboard artists just to get an idea of the life you go through.

Man...there's so much talent in the industry! I got to get it through my head and work harder!!

Oh man, now its 10 pm? I haven't got much done beside getting brick reference...
