EDIT: report on Friday class...oh my head really hurts @_@ I have to get used to sleeping early and waking early.

So basically I have 5 classes this semester....on all five days. How horrible.  Three lab art classes (each require about 6 hours/wk) and two GE (2 hr/wk).  However, I have a lot of break in between class time for me to work on anime artworks/prints or read the book assignments. Also I get out by 3pm although I have to wake up at 6-7 ish i the morning.  No night classes YAY!!!

MON/WED
KIN 169 - Diversity, Stress, and Health - Amy Chang
I added this class last minute because I had no class until 1:30pm.  OMG why would I take something I don't even know what it is...haha. Kinesiology.  Kinetics? *shot* This fulfills one of my Advance Core requirement.  I guess it's like pyschology (the only pych class I took was women).  Chang seems like a cool young instructor and she had a lot of good rating in ratemyprofessor.com.  Err lots of reading everyweek  and a buncha writing T_T Damnit. I seem to be the only art major there...*dies* But I am academically oriented! >:O So hopefully I'll do well...

ART 051 - Intro to 3D Art - Alvin Thompson
I heard this class requires a lot of hours outside of classs to do the 4 projects @_@ Dear gawd.  The instructor however, seems really friendly and grandpa like XD;;  Ouu I finally touched Maya!! haha I never worked on Digital 3D before, so it was interesting to see how the program worked.  I want to get a new comp so I can practice on my own.  However, looking for a good comp with the qualified graphic card...gawd so expensive. I have the same classmate (I think his name's Allen D:?) from 112A in my class!

TUES/THRS
ARTH 157 - Interm. Life Drawing - Robert Chiarito

Another friendly teacher!! Ohoho. I like my choices XD But that's just first impression.  Looks like I would work on weird Picasso like styles, some representational,  and fine art stuff rather than what I studied in Figure Drawing. Something looser ;3  But I look foward to using wet medium with life drawing :3 This will definitely help with cging lighting and environment around the figure. We have outside assignments @_@ Oh noes!

ART 70A - Prehist. through Medieval Art - Anne Simonson

Grandma? XD;; She's seems really nice so I don't think it would be that bad. Though we actually have to read our textbook @_@ The undone!! Actually I had to read a lot during AP Art History so hopefully I haven't lost that touch. And questionaires reading logs are much easiers than coming up with an essay.  Oh yea, Jinny  [profile] chasiewbao and [profile] vejiita4eva (who i don't really know but looked at her da) is in my class.

FRI
ART 112B - Drawing for Illust/Animation - Sheldon Borenstein
Woah, a six hour class is pretty intense @_@;; Or just long..So Sheldon is actually a professional from the industry who flies from LA to San Jose every Friday to teach this class.  He seems pretty cool. Funny personality. I couldn't stop laughing when he was demonstrating how we should draw outside live.  We have about 65 students in the class @_@ and he was only supposed to take in 24 hah. So when we lined outside to watch his little demo, everyone walking past by was all staring at us, like "what's going on?" and he would be mimicking their walk to show personality through the body shifts.   The work does sound very intense with a buncha work books but I guess I could work on it during my breaks.  Gesture drawing~~oh how I miss thee. Figure drawing totally stiffened my drawing, so I'm happy I could work on something more fluid like back in the high school animation.  Sheldon's stories are actually inspirational to me :3 Must work hard and really dwell into what I am learning!

I seriously hope I won't get stressed out @_@ (haha even tho i am taking a stress class rofl.) I haven't done much of the prints yet and I know it gets stress time by coming May.  *takes a deep breath* Okay I must prepare and organize myself for this semester.
