So I'm still trying to get the hang of sculpting. I've even baked some clay in the oven and sanded it down. SO TEDIOUS!!! Because I'm gonna use the oven again and its not worth baking just one thing, I've started another cat sculpt! Some progress here:

Anyways, I tried gessoing the first neko with paintbrush but it there was too much paint brush texture and I had to appy more gesso and sand it down. But I have no patience with it drying and end up scraping off the gesso that the clay showed up. The best method is to spray primer, but I bought the wrong one. I needed water-based acrylic primer. After researching, I've decided I should just buy airbrush! Since I want to have even coat on my Nitori figure as well. This morning I did a lot of research on airbrush...and well spent 200 buck on a set and supplies on Amazon. I learned I can just use Acrylic Airbrush Thinner with my existing acrylic so I didn't have buy more color. So I hope that will work out! I never tried airbrush, so I'm excited to try something new!

When it comes to new hobby, I do get addicted haha. I bought a lot of material for my Nitori plush as well during my plush making phase...
