X-mas:
So how was my xmas? Pretty okay...boring.. After I posted my LJ yesterday, my sister was going off to watch a movie with here friends. Then I thought of having my dad watch a movie since he haven't been to the theater fer so long! My dad and I went another theater at Great Mall and watched House of Flying Dagger. It was very bleh....I wasn't falling asleep since I was at the front, but it was kinda too bland or annoying.. Andy Lau is hot but I think he's much better in Infernal Affairs~~~The visuals effects are as usual beautiful, like Hero.
Day after xmas...
San Francisco with my friends (9 people that came)!! We took the Bart Train from Fremont to Powell. Walked around in the big Macy...everything was so expensive!! It was more expensive than the San Jose's Macy I'm thinking. We had a meeting time when seperated from the guys and end up waiting for them, 30 minutes. Like, why is it the girls waiting for the guys to finish shopping!! It should be the other way around >=P Took pictures in front of Macy and walked around to Chinatown of all places... I don't know what took long, but we were looking for a restaurant to eat at, and most of the restaurants we passed were too small to fit 9 people in a table, so we kept skipping a lot of restaurant, even dim sum -_-;;; I wanted to eat dim sum, but I dunno how to order them in Chinese and I got confused what the others were thinking. Also, I wanted to sit down and eat, but there weren't a lot of tables. So we separated ways and met each other at a later time, I went with Teresa to go look for a restaurant. This guy came up to us and led us to a Chinese restaurant. Man, these people are annoying. I wanted to walk away, but we were (or I was) hungry, so we end up entering and eating there. Too expensive and the food wasn't that great. They also took our free potsticker ticket, when we were ordering. So Teresa and I tried to eat all of what we paid for. $10 split on the bill. At least I was full, not stuffed. We met with the other groups in this ice cream/drink shop and then headed to the pier.... My goodness. I wonder how much we walked!!!! From Chinatown to Pier >__< And it started sprinkling!! After walking around one store to another without buying much, we headed back to the BART. It sucked when it started raining!!! And it was soo freezing cold, I couldn't feel my face. I just found out my jacket wasn't waterproof >__< So I was soaked inside as well. But not as worst as some others ^^;; who didn't had hoods or a waterproof jacket. So we walked from Pier 39 to a BART Station that was soo far away in the freakin rain, I thought we wouldn't make it >__< We sorta dried up at the station and waited for the train to come. And then finally, I got home at 9:30.
It was fun, but I need to be more prepared for the weather >__< and I wanted to go to Japantown~!! Manga.. but I guess they would have gotten wet in the rain.. How scary...
Now onto what I did today :3
Just finish reading the latest scanlation of YAKITATE!! JAPAN all day!!! Bwahhaa. Man, this manga is so amazing XD Bread manga makes any manga topic possible!!! I need more :O!!!! And the artwork is so awesome <3. Takashi Hashiguchi's style reminds me of Oh!Great (Tenjho Tenge, Air Gear), Obata (Hikago, Death Note) and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (EVA) combined! *the goodness* Azuma so cuute >3< (Gon like - HxH comparison). Kunmuri (Kurapica). Sawachi (Leorio). Dunno how to compare the rest. They're unique :3
Okie must do some practice sketches using interests from that LJ topic I did earlier.
