Its the New Year!
Gonna get these reviews out of the way to clear up my list.

Summer 2013 part 3
Senyuu
Servant x Service
Sunday Without God
Uchouten Kazoku
Watamote!
World God Only Knows 3

Senyuu
The plot of this series got bigger and bigger, but WHY IS IT 3 MINUTE?!!! It kinda breaks up the tension too much. It's not as funny as before tho.

Servant x Service
In the end it was really cute and sweet. I ended up rooting for Hasebe and Lucy and the other office workers' relationships. Its really became more about relationships than the work environment, now that I think about it....

Sunday Without God
At first I didn't like this series. The characters were unlikable, until we reached that huge turn around early on that made me cry. Afterward the entire world of KamiInai became intriguing. The final arc in particular was very interesting to watch with its twist and turn. I don't remember if I like the ending tho...but it was really sweet. I really wish the design wasn't so freaking moe. It didn't fit the mood of the series. Lighting and art direction wise, it was still gorgeous to look at.

Uchouten Kazoku
Another gorgeous anime by PA Works. Its all about (tanuki) family and how they cope with the tragic/appalling lost of their father who was eaten by this society of old men in Kyoto. The older brother is trying to get elected to replace his father spot as head of the tanuki clan but his uncle is also fighting for that spot. So now there's this huge family feud and a lot of dirty tricks to win. At times the story can get really depressing and it makes me frustrated with the system of food chain like Gin no Saji. The ending was a bit too easy after everything they went through, but I guess its fitting at how quirky this show is. The art direction in this series is just brilliant and it makes me very nostalgic for Kyoto.

Watamote!
Cringeworthy and 2nd hand embarrassing that I can relate to orz;;; Because I was pretty shy and introvert growing up, I didn't really interact with too many people besides my best friends. Watching this, I can say, I've been there and want to hit my head on the desk. Even throughout college, I didn't really make any friends, so it was still recent. Tomoko's social anxiety however is probably much worst than me and she has some horrible thoughts haha. Tomoko goes through some really embarrassing moments that I almost skip through them. I think she just needs someone like that senpai to reach out to her to make her life a little better (which was a really cute episode).

World God Only Knows 3
Its kinda the same with the other season, except there's a bigger plot. A lot of girls that I felt were kinda side characters finally shined. Its kinda a shame that they didn't animate the other characters' arc before they went into this arc, since it was harder to relate who they are. I had to go read Yui arc, since she was the character I was looking forward the most with the whole body swap.

Fall 2013
Coppelion
Diabolik Lovers
Galilei Donna
Gingitsune
Kakumei Valvrave 2
Kyoukai no Kanata
Kyousougiga
Meganebu!

Coppelion
One of my favorite from Winter season! If not just for the characters alone. The background is also just gorgeous. I never thought I would crush on a female character so much. Ibara-senpai is everything I wanted in a female character: independent, fierce, compassionate, tomboyish, strong, forgiving, and a leader. Her relationship with Haruto is also really sweet. They aren't dependent on each other but work so well together and are already pretty close without going full shoujo. The old school-ish feel of this series is also refreshing. Like even the sound effect sounds like they come from 80s anime. I hope to read the manga when my CR sub goes all-access ^^ I know this probably won't get another season, but the series ended at a good open spot.

Diabolik Lovers
I almost regret watching this, but now I know what this series is about. ITS JUST HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing redeemable about it. The poor girl is practically just being raped by these jackasses of a vampire through their blood sucking. Nothing really changed for the whole series...the plot element with the evil mother and uncle didn't really do much as well.

Galilei Donna
It started interesting and exciting and then it got really dark...and then it ended at an odd note. The ending felt really forced and rushed. I like the girls, especially the older sister. The sky pirate is also cool~ I heard it was meant to be 2-cour, but decided against it. There was a build up to the series that felt like it meant something bigger (like economic or political war) but it was cut short to a court room drama -_-;; What a waste of potential.

Gingitsune
This series continued to be rather sweet and nice. The addition to Satoru helped add a little more dynamic to the series. I like his date episode with his senpai hahaa... So cute.

Kakumei Valvrave 2
The second season felt a lot of stronger than last. There was a huge jump in developing the characters and showing their backstories. It was less absurd and less about shock value and more about creating drama between characters and political war. It was emotional and heartbreaking as the death count continued to rise. And then the final time jump epilogue happened...and I'm like what? Are you kidding me? While a lot of the mystery of the series was revealed, the message was muddled up and there wasn't actually a complete closure to everything :-/ If Gundam 00 was all about how peace can only be achieved through understanding, what is Valvrave's message...?

Kyoukai no Kanata
Hmm this is an odd one. I felt like I still have no idea what was going on overall with this series and at the same time understood what was happening. It felt incohesive. They threw in a lot of tropes to make fun of it...but it felt just that. Thrown in. I'm still unsure of my feeling with the series. Maybe I'll have to give it another rewatch. Its still damn beautiful to watch~ And Hiromi has a great bod.

Kyousougiga
Despite how crazy everything seems, its really about continuing to live on and being with your family. Its such a visual feat filled with imagination and interesting composition, motif, and style. Its something that just have to be watched to appreciate it.

Meganebu!
Glasses anime made me much more appreciative of my eyesight and glasses. The rest of the series continues to be funny, happy, and ridiculous with some more glasses trivia. There is no boundary with this series as it even did a parody of Jumanji and other movie parody! The final episode really felt like a final episode as cliché as it was (which I felt had the best ending this season). And then the final 3 minutes of the show just slaps you in the face and makes you realize the whole purpose of making the X-Ray glasses. Good job, megane. Making me cry one more time before it exits the scene. Anyways I will miss this series~

XD The only one I've seen is Servant x Service. It was definitely like that... only ep 1 was about the workplace. But I still found myself loving the characters and cheering Hasabe on!

I'll be watching God Only Knows eventually. I enjoy light hearted entertainment. ^^;;
