Hakuouki might not have the great pacing or story or characters (its based on an otome game!!) but its my guilty pleasure of the season haha. I'm still waiting for Heisuke's moment... *watching youtube clip just made me ;-;* I'm seeing potential charadevelopment with Heisuke, so I leaned toward him as my favorite. I actually like Shinpachi too but he doesn't have a route.

i want to play the game!!! I have only read game reviews and bought artbooks to get an idea of what's going on. The historical aspect is interesting to watch as well, since I don't think I learned anything from Peace Maker Kurogane....I think a lot of anime just hits up Ikedaya and ends there? Well PMK did... so it was interesting to see the other events that occurred. I don't watch too much Shinsengumi based series, so I don't know haha...

Plus Kazuki Yone's artwork is just dead gorgeous *____* And anime's charadesigner is Atsuko Nakajima! Now if only the animators can get her design right!! ;-; Hoping the director pulls thru and make the story stronger. But I don't mind following it haha.

I have to wonder if they'll have a second season. Western clothes + haircut!!
