Samurai Trooper <3 <3 Tohma <3 <3
Jan. 28th, 2008 11:05 pmSamurai Troopers <3 <3 Gawd...I watched this anime when I was in the 4th grade...I got obsessed with this series along with DBZ and Sailor Moon. We even bought action figures!! Haha...and I even tried writing fanfic crossover with SM before I knew about the internet. I had nice memory of this anime ;3 Tho the animation was hideous if I recall...the OAV looked pretty nice (well, for certain parts).
Shin was my favorite chara...but somehow I'm seeing Touma in a new light haha... He looked so mature and cool in the screencaps *A* Quick sketch + copic/tombo marker.
What....how did I wind up with Samurai Trooper again?
Out of randomness, I was watching Gundam 00 which led me to looking up Gundam Wing to seeing how well it was received back then on wiki. Which led me to the looking at the character designer's works, Shukou Murase which I really admire his style. I noticed he worked on the Samurai Trooper OAV character design...which led met to go on YouTube and watch some OAV...but I just skimmed around for some Shin moment (since he was my favorite character). Then I end up noticing how cute Tohma looked as well in certain scene...which lead me to looking for anything Tohma and Natsuti (they looked cute together haha despite what I remember...). After failing to find anything with Natsuti (unpopular female chara) I went on ebay to look for some artbooks..since I got inspired to draw something. There were so many artbook @A@;;; So I tried looking for any recommended artbooks...but ended up at this site that already posted scans of the artbooks *A* I went and download all of them...and spotted some nicely drawn Tohma *A* Also there were some cute Shin scans. And there...overnight fandom revival!!! I want to to draw a Shin fanart later... Kento also looks so cute!! Ryo and Sage are just ugly....
( So, for now, Tohma scans!! )
Woo..that was a bit long. I kinda want to watch the anime again (we bought some of the dvd) but I'm afraid of the ugly old animation haha..we'll see about that. Now time to read Dogs and Demons and go to sleep...class early tomorrow T_T;;
