Ouran 58 rant part II + style rant

Nothing in depth......just realized a lot of scenes I'm working in the doujinshi are in the manga....

I'm not copying!! I guess the scenes are always generic and played out...or I think I'm picking up some wavelength from Hatori lol...just I go off to non-canon pairings...whatever...more reference!



After the fever, Haruhi returns more normal...a bit too positive imo @A@;;; Something about the story is relating to Haruhi's mother!! I wonder what? Is there going to be a Ski trip or something? (couldn't read with tiny scans)

I'm not really fond of Hatori's drawing style anymore...the face loooks really round and the eyes are too wide apart. Haruhi lost her bishonen aspect..... ;o; Oh man, I think I appreciate Hatori style in around volume 4-5...the rest just doesn't look quite right.

I don't really like it when mangaka's style changes quite dramatically over the years...for example, Yukiru Sugisaki style goes extremely shota ;O; Hisaya Nakajo of Hanakimi (even tho I haven't really finished reading it) style got less bishounen...Mizuki went from this to that. Some mangaka improve for the better...and some just loses what made their style great...but that's just me complaining because I can XD;;; (my style changes around a bit too haha...but this isn't about me XP)

I'm missing the whole Ouran group as well...I want to see more random adventures!!! I guess I prefer the story to be less romance focused even tho it is shoujo...it didn't had that feel in the earlier part of the story. Now it's flat out one of the main focus in the plot and it really bothers me. (although I still want more Hikaru!!!! He showed up in the beginning and end of ch 58 orz)

Oh well..that ends rant for this chapter. I'll probably be busy with school and work, so hopefully time will pass by faster for the next chapter.

I know what you mean! I actually think Shirow Miwa's style changed quite drastically too with the newer chapters of DOGS. It's like Miwa is rushing to keep up with the deadline of the magazine and lacks backgrounds and details that made his work so gorgeous in the beginning chapters. I always fear I'll lose skill instead of gain it. (haha) Silly fear but it's there. XD I miss Hikaru too!

Uuuu I miss the random!Ouran too T_T I never really noticed the art change, but after I read this I looked back, and now I can't not see it anymore XD The eyeball space thing is kinda woaah. Hopefully she'll move into a nicer style (*thinks*Obata Takeshi from Hikago to Death Note D:)

LOL. I ruined the art for you!! haha...Ouu Obata Takeshi definitely had a nice art change...but Near's major marshmellow hair and shota-look change bothered me a lot XD;;

Yeah, I agree. I think Hanakimi looked best when it was at volume 4-5, around the middle of the series. She should've stopped changing there while ahead. The style change also happened in Fruits Basket...the pretty style she had before is all gone, replaced by chubby and bland faces.T_T
