COLLEGE EXPENSES

College = $1900 ;O;!!!!

My earnings over the summer will be depleted once I include the $4500 trip to Japan ;O; Which basically equals mostly everything in my savings T____________T

*CRIES*

Why do I have to pay for college --___--

Maybe I should stick around for work during winter break.... I have to limit my spending after all....

*CRIES SOME MORE*

Unfortunately I don't believe in loans XD;;

I like to pay full and clear so that I don't worry about it after I graduate XD (and interest payment not worth the waste of money when I could use it for like artbooks haha..)

Oh, I see. xD I understand that mentality, but I guess it sort of limits you at the same time. I just think that at the age where you're entering into college, a very small percentage of people are financially stable enough to be able to 'pay full and clear ' in the first place, so student loans are the way to go if you're incapable like me. D8

That's true. Isn't your school tuition more expensive? A loan would be understandable if it is.

In my case...it's more affordable than paying 10k a semes. Before I started working, I had my parents pay for it. But now that I'm earning money, they won't pay for it TAT;;

Mine is...around 40K a year, and with federal grants, 20K, so. :/ It's really kind of impossible for me. I'm going to be paying off loans until I'm 60 yay~! My own fault, so I'm not complaining, since this is the school I chose.

Yeah, I guess having the job is a big step, both in mentality and independence. D8 It depends on your parents' values, I guess. My parents are weird with education. They didn't go to college themselves, so they hold it in really high regard. They're helping me pay some of that 20K, but I still want to pay them back when I'm older.

My parents only went to community colleges. But like all asian families, you have to go to college T___T We couldn't get financial aid because our income was just above average...and somehow it seem more troublesome for them to pay for a more costly institution (which is why i chose to stay locally). 40K is like what my mom makes in a year @A@;;; No way I want to burden them with that cost.

Getting a job is nice tho~~getting your feet in the industry before graduation seems more safe than not getting in after graduation XD
