Ugh, please don't txt message me anymore. Just leave voice message if you want to contact me XD;; I hardly pick up my phone b/c it's in my bag most of the time.
>__> I know what you mean. I still have those friends texting me anyway since they tend to have those text plans. Because at this rate if you don't have the plan your texting bill will end up like nuts.
Economy bad or not. Texting is not worth that charge.
*flail* Sorry, I thought you might be in class or something and sometimes my friends forget to turn off their ringers and then I get yelled at for trying to leave them a message T_T
So I err on the side of messaging, even though it's expensive for me (we must be on the same shitty plan or something..) just to be on the safe side. But, will avoid in the future!
Hmm... I guess I overreacted when I saw on the news that txt message raised their fee while watching the news.. not sure what company it applied to haha. But yah...even $.10 or $.20 add up ridiculously. Why is it that we get charged to receive message? Esp if we don't want it... (not that i don't want yours haha)
I dunno, but MAN does it ever piss me off when I explain to friends that I can only text/receive texts when necessary and I get messages where the entire thing is:
There are those plans...but its like already ridiculous paying 130 bucks a month for cellphone (3 accounts). Text message should be included.... its like standard amongst cellphone users.
how is US better? We have so many taxes and stupid fees... its like double the rate they advertise. So something like USD19.99 would actually cost USD30 a month T_T;;
And it does suck to get charged for received message...wth at&t..
I think you guys can call each other within the state or the country without getting long distance charges??
Our US friends always try calling us when we're in the US thinking it will be free, but it's not.. and we get charged long distance just for calling outside of our city to the next city T__T;;
It's also the same with us.. something advertised as $20 will be $30 after all the service fees and taxes =(
Eww... I see... (._o) When we use our cell to call phoneline, they charge long distance at ridiculously high rate.... Phone/Cellphone companies are evil!!
Dude, we have nothing on Canadian taxes. NOTHING. (Well, I don't know about their phone plans, but regular Canadian taxation = NUTS. ..though at least they get health care because of it.)
uhm, if you have at&t, text messaging has BEEN at $0.20 for a while now. cuz i remembered getting a lecture for texting. good thing i got a plan, then switched to verizon with a wayy better plan.

For us, we get charged whenever we send, but it's free to receive I think..
But I'm jealous, US has much better phone plans than Canada *sobs*

I'm so jealous of Sprint. They get a better deal, screw getting reception at the desert or something.
