Capoiera + Senzalla

Tonight I went out with CP and Bruno to eat this Brazilian restaurant called Senzala. The food was okay...I wish there were more fried banana in my dish. The real treat was watching the Capoiera *A* They have the performance right in the middle of eating area where they perform within the circle on the floor. This is more awesome than martial arts that I've seen. Its so artistic and flowy and no one gets injured if they avoid the flying kicks right XD So awesome!!!!!! They all look like they're having fun as well! I'm inspired by the movements...that sorta fighting style would make one heck of an anime *A* There's training session that anyone can join (even a blind woman was performing!). I'm tempted to join...but I'm so busy with school + work T__T;; Maybe break...

you should try doing capoeira if you ever get the time. i've had a few lessons in it, it's pretty fun and interesting!

Every time someone mentions capoiera, thie first thing that comes to mind is 'The Headband' dance scene from Avatar ... Katara and Aang were totally doing the capoiera! XD

The concept of that resturant sounds so cool. ^^ I'd love to watch martial arts while I eat, hehe~! ^^

Capoiera is really fun to watch, it's so artsy. The first time I saw it on Discovery Channel, and it amazed me. 8D
