If one was the case, I'd cry. Doing that is cruel to the fandom and character itself.

Selling better is nice but shoot, killing what all those volumes built up for her personality isn't so wise...

But out of curiosity, did you support any ships there or were only witness to the wars that went about?
I shipped the obvious. Harry/Hermione. I can't stand what she did to the fans in volume six. I almost killed the book. She not only ruined a well-developed relationship, overly loved by the fandom and the movie itself; she also killed the chance of hope for any open-ending with her stupid epilogue.

On the side, I ship a guilty Draco/Hermione because the tension? That's pretty interesting.

I saw the ship wars and strayed away from them. That was when HarryHermione seemed as if it was going to win the RonMione shippers. Then again, I'd rather not get into that again...;\
